Broadband Industry Veteran Joins Audible Magic Corp. as Vice President of Business Development
LOS GATOS, California — September 21, 2006 —
Audible Magic Corporation, the leading provider of digital content recognition and management services to the media industry, announced today that Jeremy H. Stern will join the company as its Vice President of Business Development. Stern will be based in Los Angeles, CA and will be responsible for leading the efforts to identify and create new strategic partnerships to leverage the company's technology in new and existing markets.
Stern joins Audible Magic from the established communications law firm of Cole, Raywid & Braverman, LLP where he was the founding partner of the Los Angeles office. While there, he specialized in counseling broadband, Internet and telecommunications companies. Vance Ikezoye, Audible Magic's CEO, said: "Jeremy has been our outside counsel on strategic copyright and IP, public policy and other business matters for the past six years. He knows our company, strategy and technology. With his expertise in the broadband and internet industries, he joins our company at just the right time to drive the next phase of our growth."

Stern has more than twenty-five years of experience in the broadband, media and Internet industries. His experience and expertise include corporate development, business strategy, new product launch, public policy and legal affairs. At Continental Cablevision (n/k/a Comcast Cable) Stern's roles included head of regional corporate development, corporate and legal affairs and he also served as a corporate officer. Stern also worked for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association in Washington, DC where he spearheaded the industry's first coordinated anti-piracy effort and was also deeply involved in industry legislative matters. Stern graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Communications and was awarded his Juris Doctorate at Georgetown University Law Center.
